Who writes this
The NEF Workbench editorial team. Every page on this site is written by a person and rechecked against the vendor's current pages on the date printed on the page.
How facts are checked
- Prices and plan names come from the vendor's own purchase page on the day of the check. Promotional prices are noted as such.
- Step by step procedures follow the vendor's current documentation; menu names are quoted as they appear in the product.
- System requirements come from the vendor's release notes or documentation, not from reseller listings.
- When the vendor does not publish a fact, the page says so instead of guessing.
- The site currently has 7 guides. Each one shows its last update date near the title.
How the site is funded
Some links go to the vendor through an affiliate programme. If you buy after clicking one, the vendor pays a commission. It does not change the price you pay, the rating, or what the page recommends. Links to vendors without an affiliate programme are plain links.
Corrections
If a price or a step is out of date, open an issue on the site repository or use the contact address in the footer. Corrections are applied to the page and the update date changes.
